For people who are having trouble getting the slideshare embeds to show up

I've been noticing that this is becoming a problem and I think I figured out the solution and why it is doing this.

Slideshare changed their embed code and LJ doesn't like it. However you can rectify this.

On your presentation, you will see the embed option. Click on it. Under the code is a link that says customize, select that. Then copy out the old embed code. Voila! You have a usable code that shows up on LJ.
