More found music

ladylarkruneI already knew I really like Joe Hisaishi's music. But when a friend from SST sent me some samples from his new soundtrack, I knew I needed more. I already have the Nausicaa, Laputa, and Princess Mononoke soundtracks. But I just went and found two favorites today - Piano Stories and Kikujiro no Natsu. This is music to make me smile and fall in love with simplicity in melody all over again.
I would about cry and get all fangirly if Otakon or any other event managed to bring Hisaishi over for a concert or twelve.
I also found a track from from Children of Dune that I like - Inama Nushif. And I lucked into two tracks from Ace Combat: Zero.
I've been looking at buying some of the CDs on amazon so that I will have them legitimately. And I may have to look into getting an iTunes account - although I am resisting because I do not like their invasive practices.
But in the beauty of the music. I can feel at peace.
