ladylarkruneIt's actually been a pretty good day today.
Shock! I know.
Especially me saying it.
Work wasn't too bad. We wrote up three contracts for houses today which means that my boss meets her quota this month and everything else is gravy. The people were nice and I am going to miss working there (well some of the time). But tomorrow is my last day (which is my choice) And I already have an interview lined up for Tuesday. And I think I will do well based off of what I have already found out.
After work, Alicia and I met up and went shoe shopping. Which we needed to do since both of us have several pairs that are on their last legs. She got a pair of walking/tennis shoes and I replaced a pair of sandals. ^_^
Then after that Alicia and I went up to Holly Dolly's to play darts and have fun. Josh joined us after a little while. Mo and Chuck backed out at the last minute, but it was still fun. As I think I mentioned in an earlier post, Alicia has a broken thumb so her game is a little off. But she is still very good. I beat her on the first game by sheer luck (She can't hit the 20s).
When Josh joined us, we played two more games. Both were close. Poor Josh actually managed to close all of his numbers, but I beat him on points. I seem to have very good luck with hitting the board with the flag and pointing. Alicia was laughing too hard at our antics that her game went all to hell. But she was still having fun. Even the people next to us 9serious players all) were laughing at our combined lack of skill. Especially since all of us missed the board at one time or another.
Noone got a dart in the key hole, unlike last time, so we were a little bummed. ~_^
Tomorrow's my last day. I need to get up early and get something nice for my boss. So I am off to bed after catching up on a few websites.
